Structure Plan
In November 2007 Lane Cove Council in association with and as an initiative of Lane Cove ALIVE engaged an urban planning and design consultancy to prepare a Draft Structure Plan for Lane Cove Village.
Following a process of community consultation, background research and analysis, the Draft Structure Plan aims to provide a framework for the Lane Cove Village Centre. This framework:

sets out a long term Vision for how the Village should evolve over the next decades.

makes key recommendations for achieving the Vision within the public domain, land uses, built form, transport and pedestrian movement.

will guide future development and lead Lane Cove Village to become an environmentally sustainable, commercially successful, active and sociable place than can respond to demographic change.
