Morgan Merrell presents "Jonathan Byrnes in Recital" - An hour of sensational music for classical saxophone in Lane Cove followed by a glass of bubbly!

You are invited to come and have an exhilarating afternoon listening to Jonathan Byrnes, one of Australia’s leading classical saxophonists in recital for an hour. As you come in through the alive and buzzing Lane Cove and into the cosy “Music in the Lane” you will be treated to some sensational music by such composers as Debussy, Bach and Bonneau, all played on saxophone by the highly emotive Jonathan Byrnes. As the final notes of Jonathan’s music resounds through your ears you can sit back and relax with a glass of bubbly whilst the sun sets over the jacaranda covered bay window. This event is not to be missed! But there are only 40 tickets available (and they are selling incredibly fast) so if you would like to reserve/book some tickets visit the website. I hope to see you there.

Hello everyone

The Northern Sydney Guringai Festival is an annual celebration of Aboriginal culture and heritage usually held from 25 May (the day before National Sorry Day on 26 May) and concludes at the end of NAIDOC Week (second week in July).

Founded in 2001, the festival aims to raise awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in the Northern Sydney region. The Aboriginal people who reside there come from many different Aboriginal nations or countries throughout Australia and call this area - Guringai Country - home.
