The area of Lane Cove Village has been defined as Longueville Road and Burns Bay Road and their surrounds, where businesses are active. It includes the strip of shops along Longueville Road, the Plaza, Burns Bay Road businesses, as well as businesses fronting onto laneways, car parks and in arcades.

Community Consultation has identified this area as the heart of Lane Cove. Future developments will impact on this area, so an holistic approach has been adopted to provide opportunities for the entire Lane Cove Village to flourish.
